**Base currency** is the currency that shows you the value of all your assets and transactions in your wallet. Set up your base currency and you'll easily see the real value of transfers, payments, swaps and balances in familiar units—whether it's US Dollars, Euros, Yuans, or even Bitcoin.

**MyTonWallet** supports these base currency options:

* USD: US Dollar (default)
* EUR: Euro
* RUB: Russian Ruble
* CNY: Chinese Yuan
* BTC: Bitcoin
* TON: Toncoin

Once you set your base currency, you'll see everything in familiar units:<br>

* Your total wallet balance.
* All transfer and payment amounts.
* Swap amounts, staking rewards, fees and other actions.

### :thinking: How to set up base currency?

Setting up base currency takes just a few seconds. Use one of these simple methods:

**Method 1:** Tap on your wallet balance and pick the currency you want from the dropdown list.

**Method 2:** Navigate to **Settings** → **Assets and feed** → **Base Currency** and choose your preferred option.

**Done!** From now on, all amounts will be shown in your chosen currency.
